KONE has been selected to deliver 69 eco-efficientelevators, 121 escalators and 10 autowalks to 2 super regionalshopping centres developed, owned and managed by Inter IKEA CentreGroup. The shopping centres located in Wuxi and Beijing will becomeone-stop shopping destinations with a full range of offeringsincluding fashion retailers, restaurants, cafés and leisurecomponents, anchored by cinema, electronics, hypermarket and IKEA.Both will serve a catchment area of more than 12 millioninhabitants and KONE's innovative solutions will help ensure smoothPeople Flow® for over 10 thousand visitors every day.
For the IICG Beijing shopping centre spread over210,000 square meters gross leasable area on 3 levels, KONE willdeliver 21 KONE S MonoSpace® passenger elevators, 14 KONETranSys(TM) service elevators, 10 freight elevators, 63 KONETravelMaster(TM) escalators and 10 autowalks. For the shoppingcentre in Wuxi which has 150,000 square meters gross leasable areaon 3 levels, KONE will deliver 13 KONE S MonoSpace® passengerelevators and 11 freight elevators, as well as one KONETransitMaster(TM) and 57 KONE TravelMaster(TM) escalators. BothIICG shopping centres will also have the KONE E-Link monitoringsystem to ensure high performance levels of the equipment.
