KONE has won an order to deliver 44 elevators and34 escalators to the Riverside Century Plaza in Wuhu, AnhuiProvince, China. The plaza will have three high-rise towers on aneight-floor podium built alongside the Yangtze River. The officetower will rise to a height of 318 meters, while the two apartmenttowers are 168-meters high with 48 floors for residents. KONE'sinnovative and customized solutions will enable the smooth PeopleFlow® for the office workers and residents in the three towers ofthe plaza.
The order includes 38 KONE MiniSpace(TM)elevators, which are especially suited for high-rise buildings.There are also six KONE MonoSpace® elevators. All the elevators areequipped with the energy-efficient KONE EcoDisc® hoisting machines.The podium will house 34 KONE TravelMaster(TM) escalators. Atraffic monitoring system, KONE E-Link, will help the facilitymanager ensure a high level of service in the Riverside CenturyPlaza.

Developed by Nanjing Global Era InternationalGroup, the main contractor of the plaza is China ConstructionEighth Engineering Division.Corp. Ltd. The Riverside Century Plazahas been designed by Pan-Pacific Design and Development Group. Theplaza will be completed in mid-2015.
The order was booked in the second quarter of2012.
