A 40-Year KONE Journey
My KONE journey began in March 1985 as a Junior Management Trainee at KONE India, Chennai. Early on, I completed a year-long Post Diploma in Lift Erection, Servicing, and Maintenance and was selected for extensive training in Finland. Over the decades, I progressed through roles across India and the Middle East, from commissioning engineer to branch manager, training manager, and safety and quality leadership, culminating as Field Operations Development Manager for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. Along the way, I’ve led teams, built training centers, executed major projects like Yas Island, and integrated operations across multiple countries.
What Got Me Here
Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to share knowledge have guided me throughout my career. I’ve always believed in leading from the front, coaching teams, and embracing challenges as opportunities to grow. That mindset has allowed me to continuously evolve, both professionally and personally.
Support & Growth
I have been fortunate to work with managers and mentors who inspired me and believed in my potential. KONE’s culture of recognition, care, and continuous learning, I'from technical training in India to leadership and safety programs in the Middle East, has been instrumental in my growth.
Opportunities & Success
For me, success is about overcoming challenges, creating impact, and nurturing people along the way. I take pride in building capable teams, executing complex projects, and leaving a legacy that supports lasting growth across regions.
Motivation & Wisdom
After 40 years without a single lost day of service, I know that growth comes from stepping outside your comfort zone, staying humble, and always learning. Recognize people, take challenges head-on, and keep moving forward, that’s the mindset that continues to drive me today.
